Achievements

DECI – Digital Egypt Cubs Initiative

A multi-year, scholarship-based web development program by Egypt's Ministry of Communications, spanning weekly online sessions, monthly workshops, and intensive 7-day summer camps. Completed multiple projects and assessments across levels 2 through 5, gaining deep web development knowledge and hands-on team experience.

Oct 2022 – Present

German Language – Goethe A2 Certification

Studied German through A1 and A2 levels with a Goethe-certified instructor, covering grammar, vocabulary, and all four language skills. Completed the official Goethe A2 exam with a score of 91/100.

Sep 2022 – Jan 2024

Robotics Club

Member of the school's long-term robotics program with weekly sessions spanning over a year, including summer breaks. Completed technical tasks, semester projects, and evaluations while working in teams to study and occasionally teach assigned topics.

Oct 2024 - Feb 2026

The Experiment Digital – STEM Leadership

Participated in a competitive virtual U.S. exchange program funded by the Department of State, focused on STEM leadership, collaboration, and cross-cultural communication. Engaged in weekly sessions, small projects, and interactive meetings with international peers.

Jun – Aug 2025

ECPC – Egyptian Collegiate Programming Contest

Competed with a teammate in the online qualification round and advanced to the national ECPC in Alexandria, ranking 72nd on the first attempt. Prepared extensively through problem-solving practice and team strategy sessions.

Aug 2025

Computer Science Club

Served as Vice Head and Web Development Lead of the school's Computer Science Club. Prepared technical presentations and lectured 5–10 junior students in weekly sessions, occasionally recording online content to support learning outside meetings.

2025–2026

International Linguistics Challenge (ILC)

Completed the ILC qualification round, solving linguistic problems across syntax, semantics, phonetics, and language patterns. Qualified to advance to the next round of this international analytical challenge.

Dec 2025

Pioneer GPSI

Completed the selective Pioneer GPSI program on a full scholarship — a 3-month online STEM initiative exploring AI and data privacy through systems thinking, design thinking, and cross-disciplinary analysis. Used frameworks such as causal loop diagrams, iceberg models, and empathy mapping to identify root causes and design user-centered solutions addressing transparency and control in AI systems. The program fundamentally shifted the way I approach complex problems by integrating technical, social, ethical, and systemic perspectives.

Jan – Apr 2026

New York Academy of Sciences (NYAS) – Junior Academy

Collaborated with an international team in the NYAS Junior Academy to develop "AI Footprint Tracker" — a browser extension raising awareness of AI's environmental impact — as part of the Human-Centered AI challenge. Moved from researching the hidden energy costs of AI through to designing and testing a working prototype, applying scientific thinking, problem-solving, and user-centered design throughout. Strengthened the ability to translate an abstract global issue into a practical, socially responsible solution.
